Verse of the Month : Micah 6:8

Resources to challenge you to think about what God requires of us, as opposed to ritual or works.

    Inter-Varsity Graduate Fellowship Expository 1961

?Turnball? Speaks on Micah 6, exploring what it means to seek justice, love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God. He looks at how people lived when religion is fake, and that the heart is not in it. Turnball looks at what God desires from us, especially worshipping with sincerity, instead of relying on formal religion.

Reel label reads : "IVGF expository pulpit #14 Rev K. ?Turnball? 22-10-61" IVGF = Inter-Varsity Graduate Fellowship

Six minor prophets: (Jonah, Malachi, Amos, Mabakkuk, HJosea, Micah) / By George Cornforth.

For discussion on Micah, see pages 19-21

The good that God requires / Glenn Davies, Societas 1985

Article written by Glenn Davies, drawing on Micah 6:6-8, and challenging the readers to ask themselves the same questions as Micah posed to Israel :

    1. Does our congregational workship reflect lives living by faith in God?

    2. Is our trust placed in the forms and rituals of 'public worship', or in our God who we come together to praise?

Article is available on page 5 and continued on page 42
