    Prayer

Moore College is a community devoted to prayer, recognizing and honouring God’s sovereignty and lordship in all aspects of life. Consider the bible's teaching on prayer and it's implication with this specially curated collection of resources. There are many opportunities to participate in corporate prayer for the College - regular men and women prayer events, quarterly prayer bulletins and daily prayer points – find out more about upcoming prayer events here.

    Thankfulness and prayerfulness

    Mark Earngey

Exploring the link between prayer and thanksgiving with the spread of the gospel, Earngey compares churches in 2022 with those of the Reformation. He looks at God's glory as the outcome of prayer and thanksgiving.

    Stephen's sermon

    Robert Tong

Tong looks at the danger of grumbling or complaining, expounding Acts 6 and the priorities of the apostles. Tong challenges the audience to consider if they believe the word is effective. He reminds them that we need to pray, and that prayer should come before our own decisions. Tong looks at how the spirit changes us, starting with our willingness to serve.

    God's heart for all humanity

    Lionel Windsor

Windsor speaks on praying for authorities from 1 Timothy 2:1-7. He reminds his listeners that Christ's death and resurrection is for all humanity, and thus we should be praying for all, and seeking to be sharing the gospel with all. Preached during the 2021 lockdown, 11 days after the anti-lockdown protests
